My artistic practice is rooted in movement, experimentation, and sensory connection. I work primarily in clay, creating sculptural forms that celebrate texture, bold color, and expressive surface. I use my body to physically engage with the material, pressing, folding, and imprinting the surface in ways that leave behind intentional marks of making. Each piece is an extension of my relationship to clay: intuitive, tactile, and reflective of a moment in time.
Visually, I’m drawn to the textures of the natural world, moss, bark, coral, urchins, and reimagine them in vibrant, high-contrast color palettes. I’m especially interested in the tension between organic form and vibrant color. My pieces often feel playful yet deliberate, tactile yet refined.
Experimentation and play are central to my studio practice, and I continually seek new ways to challenge the relationship between surface and form.
